The name Shirudo comes from the Japanese word for shield – a shape that was the source of inspiration for this table. The aim was to reveal the soft side of metal, while the gentle curve of the legs releases the playfulness of the material as it starts to interact with its surroundings. The exposed joints of this coffee table show the high level of craftsmanship, and the table itself will enlighten its surroundings without losing any of its own charm.
